Exhibition Project, Rora, Italy, 25.11-17.12 2023

The international multimedia exhibition SHELETER brought together dozens of artists expressing their sympathy for the victims of the 7 October terrorist attack and the hostages taken by the Hamas terrorist group. The exhibition was realised on the basis of #ArtistsStandsWithIsrael project organised by KadelArt and SVIVA art space.

“This is first and foremost an art project. A video installation in public spaces that gives a voice to artists who want to share their feelings about the war. The aim is to bring a "ray of hope" to the cities in Israel and around the world, and to send emotional support from the indifferent. The open call invites submissions with "a message to the people of Israel or your reflection on the situation".
We are not calling for hatred or disrespect for the lives of civilians in Gaza and other regions who are also suffering from this war. All works from our open call will go through a curatorial selection process, and we will not include works that don't meet these ethics in our nightly projections. “

Curators: Curators: Kate Finkelstein, Dasha Ilyashenko, Lev Nikitin
